‘The Mindy Project‘ alum Mindy Kaling shared the experience of her on the vaccine queue with an Instagram post on January 27. The Hollywood actor posted a couple of photos on the way to Dodger stadium where her father would get the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine and showed her gratitude for the health workers and volunteers who are working long hours to help people.
Alongside the photos, one of which is showing that there is a long line to receive the vaccine, Kaling mentioned the process:
“We signed up for a slot online and I wanted to keep him company in the car because we thought we might have to wait hours (I obviously did not get a vaccine – my tier won’t be a while).”
Stating there a lot of stress for people about getting the vaccine, Kaling added that also worried about her dad because she knows how badly the elderly are treated, generally. However, according to what she said, everything went so much well that she was amazed.
“I was amazed by how efficient, organized and friendly the staff and volunteers were at Dodgers. I really want to thank them for their patience and kindness to the most vulnerable Angelenos.”
‘The Office‘ alum praised the volunteers by saying that they stand in the freezing cold just because people need their help, and concluded her words as follows:
“Not to sound like Yakov Smirnoff but what a country! 2nd shot in 28 days. See you soon.”
Following the said post, a great number of Instagram users flooded the comments section to tell of their own experiences over the process of getting COVID-19 vaccines. Most of them stated the process is going slowly but surely.
