Numerous award-winning actress Natalie Portman had commenced to broadcast the online program ‘Natalie Portman’s Bookshelf’ and hosted many famous authors.
For this week, ‘Léon: The Professional’ actress invited Robin Wall Kimmerer to her program and had a talk on books, literature, and life.
‘The Other Boleyn Girl’ co-star uploaded a video from her show on Instagram and captioned it as follows:
“I’m so excited to share conversations with some of the authors of books I’ve been reading. Hope you love this first one with the great Robin Wall Kimmerer, who wrote last month’s pick, Gathering Moss.”
Portman, who graduated from Harvard, in psychology, praised Kimmerer and wrote:
“I loved reading Robin’s gorgeous words, learning how moss, one of the oldest species on Earth, can have extremely complex behaviors. Certain types of moss can purify water, others can seem to be dead for a decade and come back to life with a single drop of water, and still others can change gender according to the environmental pressures (…)”
