The Poker Face star confirmed that she has finished filming her scenes, but she’s still keeping quiet about which character she plays. “I’m old enough to know that the whole thing is a gift and gravy and rare and I’m taking it in stride,” she told Entertainment Tonight.

There’s been a lot of speculation about her role in the movie. Some think she might be playing Ben Grimm’s love interest Alicia Masters. Others believe she may provide the voice for H.E.R.B.I.E. Lyonne hasn’t confirmed any details about her character. She only said she was very excited to be part of the MCU, but didn’t give any clues about her role.
‘The Fantastic Four: First Steps’ main cast was revealed earlier this year. Pedro Pascal will play Reed Richards, aka Mr. Fantastic. Vanessa Kirby (‘Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning’) will play Sue Storm, the Invisible Woman. Joseph Quinn (‘Stranger Things’) will star as Johnny Storm, or the Human Torch. Ebon Moss-Bachrach (‘The Punisher’) will play Ben Grimm.
Paul Walter Hauser is believed to be playing the villain Mole Man, and some think John Malkovich could be cast as Doctor Franklin Storm. Julia Garner is confirmed to be playing the Shala-Bal version of the Silver Surfer, and Ralph Ineson has been cast as the main villain Galactus.
‘The Fantastic Four: First Steps’ will take place in an alternate universe, but Marvel confirmed that the Fantastic Four will also appear in MCU’s ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ and ‘Avengers: Secret Wars.’ There’s a possibility the characters will eventually make their way into the main MCU timeline by the end of the movie.
The film is currently still in production. The official trailer hasn’t been released yet, but a leaked version appeared online after San Diego Comic-Con.
‘The Fantastic Four: First Steps’ is set to hit theaters on July 25, 2025.
