Gaining a huge reputation for representing ‘Barney Stinson’ in the series ‘How I Met Your Mother,’ Neil Patrick Harris announced that he’ll take part in ‘Camp by Walmart‘ by sharing a photo of himself, in which he is seen with a scout jacket.
Harris captioned the photo on Instagram as follows:
“Hey! It’s me, Neil, and this summer I’ll be your head counselor at Camp by Walmart – a new kind of camp designed for the internet, where families can have all kinds of fun. We’ll play games, I’ll talk to animated parrots, and that’s just on the first day! Come play on the @walmart app (via the services tab).”
However, it all started after this post. A good number of his fans criticized him for being a part of this cooperation and described the firm, Walmart as a company that does not value its employees, even in the pandemic period.
One of his followers initiated the discussion as follows:
“So you have no concerns partnering with a company that outsources manufacturing to countries, where even working with a billion-dollar company can’t even afford one meal a day?”
Another added:
“You are awesome NPH but Wal-Mart is a company that doesn’t take care of its employees and has old there prices on many things during the pandemic.”
Although the Emmy Award-winning actor didn’t reply to any of the comments, his followers continued in the same manner:
“Neil, I think you’re awesome, but I gotta say I am very disappointed by this. Walmart is a terrible company with a long history of treating it’s employees like garbage and driving out local businesses. I’m sure the opinion of some random nobody like me doesn’t make a difference to you, but… here we are.”
