Netflix Announces ‘YOU’ Is Back In Production For Season 3

The streaming giant Netflix has a piece of good news for the fans of ‘YOU.’

The streaming service delivered the exciting news through its official Twitter account. Alongside a photo of Penn Badgley, the lead actor, wearing a covid-19 mask with “HELLO YOU,” the following message was written:

“We recommend you stay at least 6 feet from Joe Goldberg at all times. YOU Season 3 is back in production.”

As widely known, almost a month after its second season release, it was announced that the thriller series was already renewed for a third season by Netflix. So, on January 14th, 2020, a short trailer with the slogan “New Year, New You“ for the new season was released. However, until November 2, there was no information about the date of filming.

In the new season, the audience will see four new characters, according to news obtained by What’s on Netflix. As one of them, a new member named ‘Dante’ will play a key role in the series, developed by Greg Berlanti and Sera Gamble.

It was also teased that Shalita Grant will portray a new character ‘Sherry‘ and Travis VanWinkle will play ‘Cary‘ in the upcoming season. What’s more actor Scott Speedman joined the cast to play ‘Matthew’ according to tweet of Netflix Queue.

The third season is scheduled to conclude in April 2021; and it will hit the platform with the first episode titled “And They Lived Happily Ever After.”
