The media-services provider Netflix, which offers online streaming of films and television shows, launched the ‘Black Lives Matter’ hub to support the movement and change.
Netflix created a section that has composed of films, TV series, and documentaries that grab attention about racial injustice and the black experience, and announced this via Twitter.
Regarding the ‘Black Lives Matter’ hub, the company wrote:
“When we say ‘Black Lives Matter,’ we also mean ‘Black storytelling matters.’
With an understanding that our commitment to true, systemic change will take time – we’re starting by highlighting powerful and complex narratives about the Black experience.”
The company Netflix, which has millions paid subscriptions worldwide, continued:
“When you log onto Netflix today, you will see a carefully curated list of titles that only begin to tell the complex and layered stories about racial injustice and Blackness in America.”
