New Avengers Movie May Feature Over 60 MCU Characters (Even The Dead Ones)

Director Shawn Levy is the top choice for this massive project.

The next Avengers movie may have over 60 characters from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, even some who are no longer alive in the story.

As per Deadline, this Avengers movie will be different from the previous ones. Instead of focusing on a small group of heroes like Iron Man, Captain America, and Black Widow, this film will be more of an ensemble. This means many characters will share the spotlight equally.

This could include heroes like Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk, Chris Hemsworth’s Thor, Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange, Tom Hiddleston’s Loki, Simu Liu’s Shang-Chi, and Karen Gillian’s Nebula.

Shawn Levy May Be The Director

Shawn Levy is the top choice to direct this new Avengers film. He has also worked on the Netflix series ‘Stranger Things.’ Marvel Studios gave him the latest script by Michael Waldron, but Levy hasn’t decided if he will take the job yet. Marvel is still talking to other directors just in case.

Marvel Studios is planning to start filming next year. They are working hard to get everything ready, even though the plot details are still a mystery. After Jonathan Majors left the MCU following his assault conviction in December, it’s unclear who the main villain will be. There might even be more than one bad guy in the film.

Marvel Studios has not commented on these plans, but if everything goes well, this new Avengers movie could be one of their biggest projects yet.
