Emmy Award-winning artist Jessica Walter passed away in her sleep at her home on March 24, 2021. The ‘Grand Prix‘ star was at the age of 80.
As news of her passing spread through media, numerous Hollywood members jumped into social media to pay tribute to the late actor who began her career in Broadway productions. As one of them, Nick Kroll took to his verified Instagram account and released a piece of unknown details regarding the ‘Oh, Hello on Broadway‘ show where Walter guested on.
Kroll first released a photo of him with John Mulaney and Walter, and then released the following message as a caption:
“She was a great actor, a delightful person and one of my favorite guests on OHOB.”
Then the ‘Big Mouth’ creator clarified the photo by saying that it was taken on back on December 21, 2016. Apart from the above-mentioned photo, Kroll added a couple of screenshots of a decoded interview with Walter. Regarding that, he wrote:
“This photo was taken on 12/21/16– followed by show recap excerpts written that night by the late Artie Gaffin who was our stage manager and recorded every too much tuna interview in ridiculous detail.”
What’s more, the actor and producer stated that this “ridiculous interview” may serve as a document for Walter’s biography. In his own words:
“In this case providing some lovely biography on a really special woman.”
Kroll’s post received highly positive comments from Walter’s fans. One of them thanked the comedian for sharing “the most hilarious and heartwarming post about this amazing woman” she has seen. In order to check the other comments, click here.
