Academy Award-winning actor Nicole Kidman went to Instagram the other day to express how happy she is for being included in the cast of HBO’s miniseries ‘The Undoing.’
Kidman posted a series of photos of Sofie Gråbøl, who is portraying ‘Catherine Stamper‘ in the series, and Matilda De Angelis, playing ‘Elena Alves‘ in the series, and honored both that actors and crew by saying that playing opposite to that kind of cast is a bless. In her own words:
“Had the honor of working alongside these magnificent actresses in #TheUndoing ❤️ Sofie, who plays Chief Prosecutor Catherine Stamper, and Matilda, who you know as Elena Alves ✨ #SofieGråbøl @MatildaDeAngelis”
It was not the only time ‘The Others’ actor taking her social media to credit the series and the cast members. A few days ago Kidman, who is portraying a successful psychotherapist ‘Grace Fraser‘ in the miniseries, gave credit to Édgar Ramírez and Ismael Cruz Córdova and called them “gifted actors.” As known, while Édgar Ramírez appearing as ‘Detective Joe Mendoza,’ Ismael Cruz Córdova is playing ‘Fernando Alves.” Regarding the actors, Kidman wrote alongside a set of photos of them:
“So grateful to work with these two gifted actors on #TheUndoing ❤️ Edgar, who plays Detective Joe Mendoza, and Ismael who plays Elena’s husband, Fernando. ✨ @EdgarRamirez25 @IsmaelCruzCordova”
‘The Undoing,’ also starring well-known actor Hugh Grant, is based on a novel entitled ‘You Should Have Known’ by Jean Hanff Korelitz. The series, directed by Susanne Bier and produced by David E. Kelley, had its premiere on HBO, on October 25. Shortly after its release, the series garnered highly positive reviews from a wide range of viewers and critics; so much so that, it was praised both for Nicole Kidman and Hugh Grant’s performances and its strong story.
