The actress and social activist, Sophia Bush posted a series of photos and a video through Instagram on June 11 and added a note that calls for justice for Breonna Taylor who was killed cruelly by police.
‘One Tree Hill’ star Sophia Bush started her words by introducing Breonna Taylor in detail, one more time:
“Do you know what happened to Breonna Taylor?
On March 13, 2020, Breonna Taylor was fatally shot by Louisville Metro Police Department officers. The officers were searching for two people who were already in custody. Neither person lived there. Three officers (…) forced entry without knocking or announcing they were officers. They used a battering ram to knock down her door and then fired more than 22 times. Breonna was hit with eight of those bullets. Breonna was killed. None of the officers have been fired, arrested or charged…”
As the member of ‘Share The Mic Now’ community, Bush asked her followers to demand justice for Breonna Taylor by calling the numbers she gave through photos:
“Today, we are asking you to fight for Breonna by following the three calls to action in the images above.
Thank you for joining us this week.
Thank you for listening to Black women.
Thank you Black women for your labor of love.
And thank you all, for being part of the change that can only happen when we deeply hear each other’s voices.”
