‘Orange Is The New Black’ Actress Laverne Cox Shows Her ‘Pride Walk’ With A Charming Video

LGBTQ+ advocate and actress, Laverne Cox uploaded a delightful video on her personal Instagram page on June 27 and demonstrated her ‘Pride Walk’ in black underwear.

Cox, gained a reputation with her role as ‘Sophia Burset‘ on Netflix’s ‘Orange Is the New Black,’ captioned the video she had recorded to celebrate the Pride Month as follows:

How do you walk when it’s pride weekend? If you’re black and alive, trans and alive, a woman and alive, lgbtqi+ and alive, if you’re human and alive, it’s a day to celebrate.”

As known, the first openly transgender woman to receive a Daytime Emmy, the 48-year-old actress, has been working as an advocate for the LGBTQ+ community.

The co-host of the tv show ‘TRANSform Me’ continued her words by referring to the movement, ‘Black Lives Matter:’

“Even as we fight injustice, we must celebrate life. Tomorrow isn’t promised. Celebrate today!”

Cox also recommended her followers to watch Netflix’s documentary ‘Disclosure,’ through hashtags she added.
