In a recent interview with Extra TV, Pedro Pascal said that he has a bromance with Kieran Culkin, but the actor might not accept this bond as openly.
Pascal recalled the time Culkin complimented him on his play at the Second Stage Theater, where the two met for the first time. As it appears, this gesture left a lasting impression on the actor:
“I was doing a play at a theater called ‘Second Stage,’ he had done a play in the same season or was in the next play that season – He saw me on stage and came up and said hello to me. I knew who he was – I had already seen him in ‘Igby Goes Down.’ [He] kind of made my day by coming up and telling me that he thought I did a good job in the play. He’ll never remember this, he’ll probably deny it even.”

Pascal Won Against Culkin This Time
The relationship between Pascal and Culkin can be seen as a ‘playful feud’ during this award season.
Culkin secured the Best Actor in a Television Series award at the 2024 Golden Globes for his portrayal of Roman Roy in HBO’s ‘Succession,’ overshadowing Pascal. However, Pascal had his moment at the 2024 SAG Awards, where he received the Male Actor in a Drama Series award for ‘The Last of Us,’ humorously claiming this victory as his ‘revenge’ against Culkin:
“I’m going to make out with Kieran tonight – That’ll be my revenge.”
Despite Culkin’s playful ‘suck it’ remark to Pascal during his Golden Globes acceptance speech, it seems their bromance dates back a long time.
At the SAG Awards, Culkin’s show ‘Succession’ won Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Drama Series.
