American comedian, actor, and writer, Pete Davidson opened up about his experience of creating a film about his father Scott Davidson, who was died in service as a firefighter during the September 11 attacks.
‘Saturday Night Live’ star visited ‘Late Night with Seth Meyers’ and spoke of his experience while talking about his new film ‘The King Of Staten Island,’ which is a semi-autobiographical story and said:
“I think it could have been a lot worse if Judd (director) and the crew weren’t so sensitive to my feelings. They really made me feel comfortable.”
Regarding ‘The King Of Staten Island,’ which also focuses on Pete Davidson’s journey of dealing with the death of his late dad, he stated that creating a movie was a “cathartic” experience for him:
“So, it was definitely a cathartic experience and it definitely made me feel a lot better as a person.”
