Pixar May Come Up With Reboots For Their Two Classic Films

They are looking to revisit these hits to gain more success.

Pixar is reportedly thinking about rebooting two of its most famous movies, ‘The Incredibles’ and ‘Finding Nemo.’

It appears Pixar plans to focus more on their popular franchises. Bloomberg recently published a report about Pixar’s current state as they prepare for the release of ‘Inside Out 2.’ The report mentioned that Pixar is considering revisiting some of their biggest hits to attract old and new fans.

‘The Incredibles’ and ‘Finding Nemo’ were huge successes when they were first released. They helped Disney Parks and merchandise sales a lot. Disney is going through many changes, and CEO Bob Iger and other leaders are looking for new successes. As per ComicBook.com, this suggests these two movies may be on the line for a reboot.

Fans Are Excited About ‘Inside Out 2’

Pixar is confident about ‘Inside Out 2,’ but they know that the real test will be how moviegoers respond. Pixar President Jim Morris mentioned that if a sequel doesn’t meet fans’ expectations, it could lead to a series of reboots:

“With a sequel, if you put something out there that doesn’t have the goods, then you will be punished for it. Having had the doldrums we did, it will certainly be a good test with ‘Inside Out 2’ for us to see: Does this stuff still work, or does it not?”

The first movie was loved by many, and the response to the second movie’s trailer has been very positive. ‘Inside Out 2’s trailer became the biggest animated trailer launch in Disney’s history by getting 157 million views in just the first 24 hours. This is more than the trailers for ‘Frozen 2,’ ‘Encanto,’ and ‘Moana.’
