Five-time Filmfare Award-winning actor Priyanka Chopra updated her Instagram feed with a selfie, taken on a film set, and showed what changed in the film industry with the coronavirus pandemic.
The ‘Barfi!‘ star wrote alongside the photo that sees her wearing a coronavirus shield:
“What shooting a movie looks like in 2020. Daily testing, face shields, and masks on hand. This was taken after hair and makeup where we wait right before we shoot, in a secure distanced zone…”
Then Chopra added that a coronavirus mask is an “integral part” of an actor working for a film this year, and continued:
“And masks on…in between all shots!! Staying safe is part of getting the job done✌️ Protect yourself and everyone around you. Stay positive! Test negative!”
As widely known, all around the world, each government issued certain safety rules for film and TV production to reduce the risk of contagion during the coronavirus pandemic. According to these restrictions, social distancing must be practiced while wearing face coverings. Also, the actors and the crew must be tested for coronavirus regularly.
Following the rules were announced, a great number of actors shared their photos through social media to convince their fans and followers that all the reasonable measures were held during the shooting.
Chopra, attracting attention to safety rules in the movie sets, will be appeared in the upcoming drama film ‘The White Tiger,’ directed by Ramin Bahrani. The film, based on Aravind Adiga’s novel of the same name, will hit Netflix on January 22, 2021.
