‘Queer Eye’ Star Jonathan Van Ness Reveals He Got Married With His Best Friend

Television personality, Jonathan Van Ness announced a piece of great news via a lengthy Instagram post: He tied the knot with his best friend a while ago.

The ‘Queer Eye‘ star took to his Instagram on January 1, posted a series of photos taken throughout the year, and talked about 2020 and the things he had achieved in the year.

He started listing his achievements; first mentioned his contributions to the campaign of Elizabeth Warren, and then pointed out his latest stand-up in New Zealand. Then the topic came to his marriage:

I got married to my best friend & have a loving partner to continue building my life with.”

The 33-year-old Netflix star did not tag his husband in the said post, however, it was clear that he was addressing Mark Peacock, by saying “best friend.” Besides, he added a photo of himself with Peacock, which sees them holding hands.

The numerous comments received from his fellows also confirmed the identity of the husband.

“Wonderful – congratulations to you and Mark x much needed great news 👏👏👏” said, Nancy Birthwhistle.

“Yay!! That was a hard secret to keep!! 🤣 love you Mark and Johnny! ♥️” wrote, Bobby Berk.

“Omggg yay! This is the longest I’ve kept a secret 😂😂 it almost killed me hahahaha I love you and I’m so happy for you!! You deserve it all! 💕💕💕” added, Tess Holliday.

What’s more, Peacock released a long statement on his Instagram account to summarize 2020, along with a photo of himself with his husband Van Ness. In his lengthy message, Peacock confirmed the marriage with the following words:

(I) got married to my soulmate and one true love @jvn and adopted a little Jack Russell called Pablo and entered a family with 4 amazing cats.”
