Amazon Prime Video has officially renewed ‘Reacher’ for a fourth season, even before the third season’s premiere.
The announcement came on October 9. According to Variety‘s reports, Amazon confirms that ‘Reacher’ Season 3 will be released sometime in 2025.
Season 3 will be based on the seventh book in Lee Child’s Jack Reacher series, titled ‘Persuader.’ Reacher goes undercover to rescue an informant held by an old enemy in this new season. We can also see familiar faces return, including Maria Sten, Anthony Michael Hall, Sonya Cassidy, Brian Tee, Johnny Berchtold, Robert Montesinos, Daniel David Stewart, and Olivier Richters.
This renewal follows the success of Season 2. It became the most-watched 2023 release on Prime Video. Prime Video also recently announced a spinoff starring Maria Sten. The spinoff is currently titled ‘The Untitled Neagley Project,’ and it will focus on Sten’s character Frances Neagley. The story will follow Neagley as she investigates the suspicious death of a close friend by using her skills as a private investigator.
‘Reacher’ is produced by Amazon MGM Studios, Skydance Television, and CBS Studios. The show is written by Nick Santora, who’s also the showrunner. Lee Child is an executive producer along with Alan Ritchson, Don Granger, Scott Sullivan, and Mick Betancourt. Skydance Television’s David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Matt Thunell are also involved.
