Alan Ritchson really wants to be the next Batman.
Ritchson isn’t shy about this. In fact, the actor told The Hollywood Reporter that he wants to let everyone know about it:
“I would love to play Batman. There, I said it. I’ll shout it from the rooftops- I want to be Bruce Wayne!”
His love for Batman isn’t new. He’s talked about it a lot, saying how much he admires Batman’s brains and all the cool stuff he has:
“Here’s the thing about Batman, [do] you know what his superpower is? Intelligence. He’s the smartest superhero there is; he’s inventive and has all the gadgets and stuff, but he’s [just] super smart. I want to be that guy. And, also, to have a cave with, like hypercars, sports cars, and awesome motorcycles.”

There’s a Twist in the Tale, Though
Ritchson wants to be Batman, but Robert Pattinson is already wearing the cape in the movies. Pattinson is coming back for a sequel, though fans will have to wait a bit longer since its release was pushed to October 2026.
Some fans imagined what it would be like to see Ritchson as Batman with their artwork. And Ritchson is all for it. He previously said again that he would ‘absolutely love” to be the Dark Knight:
“I would love to. I would absolutely love to. It’s one of the coolest characters of all time.”
Ritchson isn’t just waiting around, though. He’s busy with a third season of ‘Reacher’ and will be seen in ‘The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare’ with Henry Cavill.
