Rebecca Ferguson Shares A Significant Update On ’Silo’ Season 2

According to Ferguson, Silo’ Season 2 is almost done filming.

During a remote interview with Collider’s Steve Weintraub, Rebecca Ferguson recently revealed the latest update on the second season of Apple TV+’s dystopian drama, ‘Silo.’

Balancing her time between the sets of ‘Silo’ and preparing for her return as Lady Jessica in ‘Dune: Part Two,’ the actress revealed that filming for the Season 2 is set to conclude in March 2024:

“The eighth of March, thank you very much for asking. Sorry, that’s that.”

While she kept details about Season 2 close to her chest, she hinted at her activities, mentioning she had been ‘swimming in very deep water’ — a nod perhaps to a plot point in the upcoming season.

Everything We Know About Season 2 of ‘Silo’

Currently in production, ‘Silo‘ Season 2 continues to build upon the success of its debut season. Adapted from Hugh Howey’s Silo trilogy, the show takes viewers into a post-apocalyptic future where humanity’s remnants survive in a mile-deep silo, shielded from the toxic world outside.

Howey’s work was initially eyed for a film adaptation before being picked up as a series by Apple TV+ in May 2021. Its successful adaptation from page to screen led to a positive reception from audiences and critics and the show’s renewal for a second season in June 2023.

With a release date yet to be announced, the completion of filming in March suggests that fans may have to wait until 2025 to see the new episodes. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
