‘Riverdale’ Star Vanessa Morgan Confirms Her Real Life Pregnancy Has Been Written Into The Series

Canadian actor Vanessa Morgan, who rose to fame for her role as ‘Beatrix “Bird” Castro’ in MTV’s ‘Finding Carter,’ updated her Instagram feed with a maternity shoot on the last days of her pregnancy to say that she is grateful for continuing to work until the 9th month with the help of ‘Riverdale‘s showrunners and producers.

Morgan, who currently portrays ‘Toni Topaz‘ in fan-favorite teen series, alongside the shoot that sees her cradling her baby bump on the set, first thanked the series’ showrunners to give her an opportunity to be seen as a pregnant woman in the show:

“Officially on maternity leave!!!! Ahh!! Feeling grateful to my showrunner & producers for being so accommodating & writing my pregnancy into the show!🤰🏽”

Through the post, Morgan confirmed that her pregnancy would be a part of the upcoming 5th season of ‘Riverdale.’ As known, The CW unveiled the first official teaser for the fan-favorite series, on December 9.

Then the ‘My Babysitter’s a Vampire’ actor said she is proud of her body for allowing her “to still work almost 9 months preggo.” She concluded her message as follows:

Now time to have a baby! 👶🏼 lol Happy Holidays everyone 🎄”

The 5th season of ‘Riverdale’, in which ‘Toni Topaz’ would appear with her baby bump, will premiere on January  20, 2021.
