Rumor: Billie Eilish Is Set To Join MCU For Big Role

The singer is famous for her Grammy-winning music and acting in ‘Swarm,’

Billie Eilish may be joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe soon.

According to entertainment insider Daniel Richtman, Marvel Studios is reportedly interested in signing Eilish for a major role in one of their upcoming films.

Billie Eilish already made a name for herself in the music scene. Her music is even featured in the MCU with her ‘You Should See Me in a Crown’ appearing in an episode of ‘Agatha All Along.’

There’s no confirmation yet on which character Eilish might play, but her recent acting experience can give us some hints. She made her acting debut earlier this year as Eva, a sinister cult leader in the Amazon Prime series ‘Swarm.’ Her performance was well-received, and she said she’s interested in taking on more acting roles. In fact, Eilish said she enjoys playing dark and complex characters. So she might be cast as a villain in the MCU.

In a 2023 interview with Variety, Eilish shared how she landed her first acting role in ‘Swarm.’ “I was on a management call, and I remember being told, ‘There’s this show, but it’s during a period of time where you’re not available. It’s a pass.’ I was like, ‘Whoa, whoa, whoa, what the f*ck are you talking about? This is my dream!’” She also described her character Eva as someone who ‘wants the worst of the worst’ and enjoys luring people into a false sense of security before taking advantage of them.

For now, the rumor is just that — a rumor.
