Rumor: Elizabeth Olsen Might Return To MCU As Scarlet Witch In New Vision TV Series

The upcoming spinoff may bring an old villain and Wanda Maximoff face to face.

A new series centered on Paul Bettany’s Vision is in the works and will officially bring James Spader back as Ultron. The story will take place after the events of ‘WandaVision’ and follow the android resurrected by S.W.O.R.D.

According to Deadline, Elizabeth Olsen will also join the 2026 spinoff’s cast. “While the focus is on Vision, we also heard there is a possibility for Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) to appear, which would make sense given how interconnected the two characters’ stories are in the MCU,” the outlet recently wrote.

Resurrected Vision came back from the dead without any emotions of its original self in ‘WandaVision,’ but the Hex Vision brought his memories back at the finale. He then flew off to the unknown.

Meanwhile, Wanda faced a vague end in ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’ after destroying the Darkhold Castle. The trailer for the upcoming ‘Agatha All Along’ miniseries hinted at her death in the Doctor Strange sequel, but reports in June suggested she would come back.

The new ‘WandaVision’ spinoff will follow Agatha trying to reclaim her powers after being snapped out of Wanda’s magic by Rio Vidal. The show will premiere on September 18 and star Kathryn Hahn.
