Reports say Thor and Doctor Strange might be coming back for ‘Avengers 5.’
As per insider Daniel Richtman, Marvel Studios asked Chris Hemsworth and Benedict Cumberbatch to keep their schedules open for ‘Avengers 5.’ He also suggests that they may be planning a slightly smaller team of superheroes for the movie.

Who Else May Appear in ‘Avengers 5’?
It’s not 100% certain Thor and Doctor Strange will be in ‘Avengers 5’ — these are just rumors. Some believe that Captain America and the Winter Soldier may also join them.
Hemsworth and Cumberbatch are quite busy right now. Hemsworth is in ‘Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga,’ and Cumberbatch has a couple of upcoming roles.
‘Avengers 5’ will be released on May 1, 2026.
