A wild new rumor claims that Marvel Studios is already working on a ‘Hulk vs. Wolverine’ movie.
According to reports, the unannounced project is now in pre-production, which means they’re starting to plan and prepare for the film.
A few weeks ago, no one thought Robert Downey Jr. would return to the MCU as Doctor Doom until he appeared at San Diego Comic-Con. There were talks about Marvel’s plans for a ‘Hulk vs. Wolverine’ movie last week, and now there’s a new claim that it’s already in pre-production.
As per ComicBookMovie, the person who shared this information was the scooper @MyTimeToShineH. They later took back their statement, but the rumor is still spreading.
There are speculations about whether this rumored ‘Hulk vs. Wolverine’ movie is part of bigger Marvel events like Doomsday, Secret Wars, or even a special show to boost Disney+ subscriptions. It seems unlikely to happen soon especially since the long-rumored ‘World War Hulk’ movie isn’t close to becoming a reality.
‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ Has Some Hints
In ‘Deadpool & Wolverine,’ a version of Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine dressed in his classic brown and tan suit, gets ready to fight Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk in a forest. However, the actual fight isn’t shown. Some thought this battle may happen in a future Avengers movie.
Hugh Jackman said he was both excited and scared about the idea of fighting Hulk. Ryan Reynolds joked that he would love to play Hulk. Director Shawn Levy added that Reynolds is available for new projects now.
We may see Deadpool and Wolverine next in a Multiverse Avengers movie. There’s also a rumor that the post-credits scene in ‘The Marvels’ took place on Earth-100005, which could hint at future team-ups between Deadpool, Wolverine, and the X-Men.
