Rumor: Wiccan Is Getting His Own Solo TV Show

Marvel Studios may be developing a Wiccan series.

We might soon be getting a new series centered on Wiccan, Wanda Maximoff’s son.

Recent reports suggest that Marvel Studios is developing a solo Wiccan show as part of their plans to expand the supernatural side of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This rumored Wiccan series could be one of several new projects that continue the stories of characters introduced in ‘WandaVision’ and Doctor ‘Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.’

Marvel Studios seems interested in Wiccan, aka Billy Kaplan, Wanda’s magical son. Wiccan is likely to appear in the Young Avengers team. According to reports, the Wiccan show is being developed alongside a possible ‘Scarlet Witch’ movie and a Young Avengers project. But it’s unclear if the latter will be a film or another Disney+ series.

The potential series will likely follow up on events from ‘Agatha All Along.’ Agatha first appeared in ‘WandaVision,’ and she encounters Wiccan in ‘Agatha All Along.’ Wiccan (Joe Locke) is introduced as a mysterious teen who joins Agatha on the ‘Witches’ Road,’ a dangerous path that could reveal more about his powers.

The idea of Wiccan leading his own series ties into Marvel’s other rumored projects that feature his family members. There were talks about a show focusing on Wiccan’s brother Tommy Maximoff, or Speed. Tommy first appeared in ‘WandaVision’ as one of Wanda Maximoff’s magical children. Wanda’s search for the twins across alternate realities in ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’ brought the characters back into focus.

If the rumors are true, it’s possible that a Speed-centered story could also connect to the Young Avengers lineup. Marvel Studios hasn’t confirmed any of these, though.
