Ryan Reynolds Says Will Ferrell Is His One Of Comedy Idols As He Releases First Look At ‘Spirited’

Ryan Reynolds, who gained international fame for starring ‘Wade Wilson/Deadpool‘ in the fan-favorite Marvel Cinematic Universe films, jumped into his verified Twitter account and unveiled the first image for his upcoming film ‘Spirited‘ featuring one of the most known comedians Will Ferrell.

Alongside the photo in which the actors are seen looking directly at each other, Reynolds, who recently opened up about his severe anxiety issue, stated that Ferrel is one of his favorites; here is his message:

“Day 1 shooting with one of my comedy idols, Will Ferrell.”

After telling of the filming for the film based Charles Dickens’s Christmas classic, ‘A Christmas Carol,’ just began, Reynolds continued his message in a hilarious way:

You’d barely notice this was an Apple movie! Also iOS 14.6 will begin installing in 7 seconds…”

The Apple+ film directed by Sean Anders and John Morris was first announced back on September 20, 2019; a couple of months later, it was declared that the streaming platform plus the producers spent $75 million for the film starring Ryan Reynolds, Will Ferrel, Octavia Spencer and Sunita Mani.

While Reynolds is portraying ‘Ebeneezer Scrooge,’ Ferrel is playing ghost for ‘Present.’ The release date of the highly-expected film has yet been announced.
