Melissa Joan Hart, the ‘Sabrina the Teenage Witch‘ star, took to her verified social media accounts in no time after receiving the first shot of the COVID-19 vaccine.
Unlike vaccine opponents, through her verified Instagram account, Hart expressed how much she is feeling lucky to get the first shot during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. The ‘Clarissa Explains It All‘ star first posted a photo of herself, pointing out her vaccine arm, and stated in the caption section that the moment she received the injection was highly emotional for her.
Stating that she is ready to give hug now, after getting the injection, ‘Nine Dead‘ actor wrote:
“Who wants a hug? In a few weeks, these arms will be open and available for hugs! Crying happy tears while the nurse pushed the plunger down.”
Then the 44-year-old star, who is using her social media platforms to share cherished moments with her family, showed her gratitude for the medical staff of Saint Thomas Hospital by saying:
“Didn’t think this day would be possible for a few more months but I want to thank the wonderful staff at #ascensionSaintThomasHospital for being so great! #oneshotdown”
Even though she did the right thing to protect herself and the other people from the coronavirus disease, a great number of users of the platform jumped into the comments section to make a correction regarding the COVID-19 vaccine; they stated that there is no evidence on the vaccine provides super protection and allows close contact.
As known, scientist recommends people to wear a mask and practice social distancing despite getting the vaccine; so, it seems not okay to hug people as Hart expected.
