Mexican and American film actress and producer Salma Hayek, uploaded a video of a massive explosion ripped through central Beirut and expressed her feelings regarding this sad happening while sending her condolences to people who had lost loved ones.
Hayek, known for her title role in the movie ‘Frida,’ wrote the followings next to the mentioned video:
“Today two explosions devastated the capital of the already hurting Lebanon.”
The Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Directing in a Children/Youth/Family Special winner, expressed her sorrow, and showed her support to grieved families:
“My broken heart goes out to all the people who have lost loved ones and who are in the affected areas of my beloved Beirut.”
Then Hayek added the same caption in Spanish.
As might be remembered, the actress, paying attention to social issues, demanded justice for 20-year-old, army soldier Vanessa Guillen a few weeks ago, and a shortly before that, had shown off her support for the ‘Black Lives Matter‘ movement.
