Gained further recognition for playing ‘Haley Dunphy‘ in the ABC sitcom ‘Modern Family,’ actor Sarah Hyland received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine the other day and expressed her happiness regarding that through her verified Instagram account.
Screen Actors Guild-winning actor Hyland delivered the news by releasing a photo plus a video of herself showing her arm shot. Alongside the photo & video in which she appears with a red coronavirus mask, she wrote:
“The luck of the Irish prevailed and HALLELUJAH! I AM FINALLY VACCINATED!!!!!“
The young artist, who had been diagnosed with kidney dysplasia in her childhood and has been on anti-rejection medicines and steroids since she underwent second kidney transplant surgery, continued her message:
“As a person with comorbidities and on immunosuppressants for life, I am so grateful to receive this vaccine. I am still remaining safe and following cdc guidelines but once I receive my second dose? I will feel safe enough to go out every once in a while…”
In continuation of the caption, the 30-year-old star implied that she could not even go shopping because of her medical condition and concerns over COVID-19 disease.
“GROCERY STORE HERE I COME! Thank you to the amazing Drs, nurses, and volunteers working every day to help save people’s lives.”
