Emmy Award-winning actor Sarah Michelle Gellar, best known for starring in 1997 dated ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer‘ updated her Instagram feed with a vacation photo taken last summer, far away COVID-19 pandemic and its impacts.
Alongside the photo from a girls’ trip to Mexico, Gellar added a lengthy message to remember the good old days and showed up how the year 2020, now cursed by a great number of people, started. ‘The Crazy Ones‘ former star said that the last year was perfect at the beginning; she mentioned her trip with these words:
“We snuggled on the couch watching movies, we swam, (we drank) we watched the sunset on the beach and most importantly we hugged a lot.”
Adding that they knew there were rumblings of covid coming there, Gellar admitted that they had no idea what 2020 would bring, and went on saying:
“We had no clue what the year would hold for us or that this would be the last time for over a year we would see each other.”
Later the actor clarified why she posted the TBT photo; as her Monday motivation.
“I’m looking at this pic today, not in sadness but as my #mondaymotivation to do everything in my power so we can all get back to that place.”
Geller concluded her message by saying that even though it is not possible to rent a house in Mexico these days, hugging and seeing loved ones and “not live with the heavyweight most of us are carrying with us” are still probable in near future.
Following the post, Gellar’s well-known friends, including her co-star Selma Blair, took to the comment section to express that they agree with her.
