Sarah Michelle Gellar Shares A Never-Been-Seen TBT Photo Showing Her Promoting A Burger King & Pepsi Ad Before McDonald’s Ban

Best known for her portrayal of ‘Buffy Summers‘ in WB series ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer,’ Sarah Michelle Gellar jumped into her social media accounts with a “real” TBT photo to remind us she is in our lives for a very long time.

Gellar, who is currently sharing highly funny posts focusing on her lockdown period at home, on February 26 uploaded a photo of herself taken almost 38 years ago for an advertisement campaign for Burger King and Pepsi. Alongside the photo that sees her holding a mega burger and a Pepsi cartoon in her little hands, she asked herself how could she had managed it.

The ‘Cruel Intentions‘ star wrote this hilarious caption for the photo she had shared in honor of #flashbackfriday:

“Throwing it back very far this #flashbackfriday … also wondering how I managed to hold that burger. You know it’s an old pic when a five year old is holding a soda that big 😂 gotta love the 80’s

A shortly after, the star jumped into the comments section to reply to herself; in the same hilarious tone, she left the following comment:

“Yes 80’s omg large fingers small phone!!!

As fans might remember, Gellar started her acting career at just 4. She first appeared in a TV film aired on CBS in 1983, and continued with a television commercial for Burger King. Because of this commercial, she was banned by McDonald’s from eating at the food chain. After years, regarding this issue, she told in an interview:

I wasn’t allowed to eat there. It was tough because, when you’re a little kid, McDonald’s is where all your friends have their birthday parties, so I missed out on a lot of apple pies.”
