Sarah Rafferty Sends A Message To Megan Markle Over ‘Suits’ Rewatch Podcast

The actress wants the Duchess of Sussex to join her podcast.

Sarah Rafferty and Meghan Markle starred together in ‘Suits’ for nine seasons. Recently, Rafferty started revisiting the series in a new rewatch podcast, SiriusXM’s ‘Sidebar,’ with their co-star Patrick J. Adams and openly invited Markle to join them.

“Everybody’s invited, and everybody has been so supportive,” the actress said in an interview with Entertainment Weekly.

She went on, “It’s amazing. I’ve just been texting one of our directors, Mike Smith. Rachael Harris had some comments on our Instagram Live this morning—cannot wait for Sheila Sazs to be introduced into the show. I can’t wait to talk to Max Beesley and all the British actors that we had.”

The podcast followed a renewed interest in ‘Suits,’ which broke streaming records on Netflix during the pandemic and Hollywood strikes. It started airing on September 24.

During the rewatch sessions, the co-hosts also shared stories from behind the scenes of their time on the show and chatted about their ex-castmates, including the Duchess of Sussex.

Adams recalled his chemistry with Markle in the October 1 episode, saying, “It was pretty clear, if I remember correctly, that she was going to get the part [of Rachel Zane] from the minute we did the chemistry read. It was just so much easier than it was with anybody else.”

‘Suits’ centered around a New York City corporate law firm and the mentor-mentee relationship between its two attorneys, Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) and Mike Ross (Adams).
