She-Hulk Season 2: 5 Things We Want To See (And 3 We Don’t)

Tatiana Maslany stars as Jennifer Walters / She-Hulk in the series.

As anticipation grows for ‘She-Hulk’ Season 2, fans are eagerly wondering what the next chapter will bring. While there’s a lot to look forward to, there are also some elements we hope to avoid. Here are 5 things we’re excited to see and 3 we’d rather not.

1. Stronger Storylines With Higher Stakes

Some fans felt that Season 1 lacked the tension and emotional depth needed for a good superhero series. In Season 2, introducing a clear conflict or a compelling villain could raise the stakes. It could give Jennifer Walters a chance to shine not only as a lawyer but as a hero who faces real consequences.

2. More Focus On The Legal Comedy

Fans also think that the series failed as a legal drama because the writers didn’t understand courtroom procedures or how to write legal scripts. This made the legal aspects feel shallow and unrealistic. Viewers also felt the show missed the chance to build a proper legal comedy, as it lacked the structure of classic legal dramas like ‘Law and Order.’

3. Cameos That Actually Matter

Fans loved Daredevil’s cameo but felt others were pointless fan service. They want future cameos to add to the story or character growth, not just be random Easter eggs.

4. Improved CGI And Visual Effects

Season 1 faced criticism for poor CGI, especially in She-Hulk’s transformations. Fans want better visuals in Season 2, with smoother animations, realistic designs, and improved lighting.

5. A Relatable She-Hulk

Jennifer Walters was relatable as she balanced her personal and work life. Season 2 should dive deeper into her insecurities and relationships while keeping her humor. Showing her struggles as a superhero and a regular person could make her story more real.

There are also things fans don’t want to see in the possible second season.

1. Over-Reliance On Meta Humor

She-Hulk’s fourth-wall breaks are her signature, but Season 1 overused them. This sometimes hurt important moments. Season 2 should use them less to avoid being repetitive. A balance between humor and serious moments could make the show better.

2. Unresolved Plots

Season 1 left some storylines unfinished, like the Hulk’s Skaar plot and issues with Titania. Fans don’t want Season 2 to do the same. They hope loose ends are tied up, and new stories are well-developed to keep the plot strong and satisfy viewers.

3. Woke Agenda

Some fans didn’t like ‘She-Hulk’ because they felt it focused too much on ‘woke’ themes. They said Jennifer Walters didn’t struggle with her powers. They also felt she was written as too confident and narcissistic. Many didn’t like how male characters were shown, especially in the humor, which felt repetitive and unfunny.
