Director Is Sure Fans Will Be Satisfied
‘Return to Silent Hill’ is directed by Christophe Hans, who also directed the original Silent Hill movie. Jeremy Irvine and Hannah Emily Anderson are the stars of this new film. Irvine plays James, a man who is heartbroken after being separated from his true love, played by Anderson.
‘Return to Silent Hill’ had production delays due to COVID-19, but it finally started filming last year in Germany. Here is how Hans himself describes the movie:
“‘Return to Silent Hill’ is a mythological love story about someone so deeply in love, they’re willing to go to hell to save someone. I’m delighted to have the wonderful talents of both Jeremy Irvine and Hannah Emily Anderson take us on this journey into a psychological horror world that I hope will both satisfy and surprise fans of Silent Hill.”
Victor Hadida, one of the producers, said that they are working closely with Konami to create a version of Silent Hill that works for today’s audience. They promise that fans will see both familiar monsters and new designs.
‘Return to Silent Hill’ will premiere at the Cannes Film Festival, but there is no release date for the film yet.
