Rachel Zegler gave fans a sneak peek into her next big role.
Zegler shared an interesting post on her Instagram. The post featured a single letter ‘J’ and emojis representing a heart and a dagger. She also added a tag showing that she was in Verona, Italy. This is the city where the story of ‘Romeo and Juliet’ takes place.
Kit Connor also posted a similar image. His post had the letter ‘R.’ These posts hint at ‘R + J’ when put together — short for Romeo and Juliet.

New Details Emerged Not Long After
It later turned out that this will be a Broadway play. The official account for the project released the poster on Instagram and tagged both Zegler and Connor in it. They also shared some details along with it:
“Starring Kit Connor + Rachel Zegler. Directed by Sam Gold, with music by Jack Antonoff and movement by Sonya Tayeh. On Broadway for a strictly limited engagement this fall. Sign up for early access when tickets go on sale this May.”
Zegler had an award-winning performance in Steven Spielberg’s ‘West Side Story’ in 2021. She then starred in ‘The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes’ and earned the title of Action Movie Star of the Year at the People’s Choice Awards. Zegler also appeared in ‘Shazam! Fury of the Gods’ in 2023 and the comedy ‘Y2K.’ It premiered last month.
Her next project is ‘Spellbound,’ and it is set to release on Netflix later this year. ‘Snow White’s release is moved to March 21, 2025.
