Sophia Di Martino attended a ‘Loki’ Emmy screening and Q&A at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills on April 13. She spoke with Variety about the possibility of a third season during the event:
“I have no idea, honestly. I’m open to more. But honestly, I think the [Season 2] finale was great and if that’s it, I’m very grateful for what we’ve had. But they don’t say anything. The veil of secrecy extends to us, too.”
The Actress Might Return For New Stories
Di Martino played Sylvie opposite Tom Hiddleston’s Loki. The series ended with Sylvie’s future unclear after Loki sacrificed himself to free the Multiverse.
But the actress has an idea for her possible new appearances in the MCU:
“I think it would be great to see Sylvie and Thor. I think it would be fun to see them get wound up, especially if Loki is in the equation. Three siblings together? The dynamic would be interesting.”
The Lead Actor Is Satisfied With The Finale
Tom Hiddleston starred as Loki in the MCU for over a decade. The actor previously said he was happy with how the God of Mischief’s story ended in ‘Loki.’
Hiddleston told Variety at the Hulu on Disney+ launch event in early April:
“There had been times before when I truly thought it was the end and I’ve been mistaken. But if this is the end, I’m so proud of where we ended up.”
The actor is currently working on new episodes of ‘The Night Manager.’
