Sophie Rundle showed how is like being a working mom as an actor in a groundbreaking series.
On May 21, the well-known actor, who best known for her role as ‘Ada Shelby’ in BBC ONE series ‘Peaky Blinders,’ took to her verified Instagram account and released a photo of herself taking care of her little baby on the film set. Alongside the photo, in which she is seen wearing her character’s clothes while caring for the baby inside the van, Rundle first heralded that the filming for ‘Peaky Blinders’ season 6 began, and then continued as follows:
“I went back to work on Peaky Blinders four weeks after giving birth to my son. This is me – sleep-deprived and slightly delirious changing a nappy in my trailer in between scenes.”
Stating that she is going through the most exhausting and challenging times of her life, the actor added that finishing this brilliant show is worth it. Rundle, who is going to say farewell to the character that she loves so much, went on saying:
“To the Peaky cast and crew who welcomed me and my little one back into the fold and pretended not to notice my impossibly deep eye bags – thank you. So long Ada. l will miss your wild Shelby gypsy heart, your don’t fuck with me attitude and your fabulous wardrobe. It’s been a ride.”
Via the post, Rundle, who welcomed her first child, a son, back in April with her well-known hubby Matt Stokoe, said goodbye to both the character ‘Ada Shelby,’ the entire cast and the crew.
As fans already know, earlier this year it was officially announced that the series starring Cillian Murphy, Sam Neill, Helen McCrory, Paul Anderson and Annabelle Wallis along with Rundle, will end with its upcoming sixth season.
