Spider-Man Actress Kirsten Dunst Says Her Kids Doesn’t Care About Her Fame

The actress says her children do not understand her fame.

Kirsten Dunst recently shared whether her sons, Ennis and James, born in 2018 and 2021 respectively, understood their parents’ careers and the public attention it brought during an appearance on ‘The Kelly Clarkson Show.’

“They don’t totally get [it],” she noted before explaining, “I mean, my one son watches ‘Spider-Man.’ My other one watched a little bit of ‘Jumanji’ before, but they don’t really care. They don’t care.”

Dunst starred as MJ Watson in Sam Raimi’s ‘Spider-Man’ trilogy from 2002 to 2007, and played Judy Shepherd in the 1995 film ‘Jumanji.’ Besides these, she appeared in ‘Mona Lisa Smile’ in 2003, ‘Bring It On’ in 2000, and featured in ten episodes of the TV series ‘Fargo.’

Her relationship with ‘Fargo’ co-star Jesse Plemons began in 2016, leading to their engagement in 2017. They married in Ocho Rios, Jamaica, after the birth of their second son.

The couple has been private about their personal life, rarely sharing details about their sons on social media. Dunst still posted a photo of James with a Spider-Man umbrella last September.

“Has No Clue His Mom Was MJ,” she wrote under the post.

Despite her family’s privacy, the actress said she’d support her children if they wanted to get into acting.
