The lead animator of Sony Imageworks, Nick Kondo posted a short video through his Twitter page and wrote a caption that reveals that the ‘Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse 2’ production started:
“First day on the job!”
According to the announcements, ‘Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse 2’ will continue with Miles Morales‘s story and the main character of the Japanese Spider-Man series, Takuya Yamashiro will involve to the movie.
Besides, in the video, the release date of the movie is seen as 2022 as announced before. As known, the computer-animated superhero film was scheduled on April 8, 2022, however, the date was delayed to October 7.
Following to Tweet, the Spider-Man fans welcomed this news with excitement and replied to Kondo as follows:
“Congrats! Definitely one of the films I’m most excited for!” said, Simon Macko.
“Oh I can’t wait to watch this sequel” added, Fetu-Z nicknamed follower.
