Shameik Moore, who voiced Miles Morales in the animated ‘Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse,’ has faced criticism for his social media behavior. Accusations of Moore “getting too close” to his co-stars have resurfaced following recent posts involving Hailee Steinfeld and Laura Harrier.

Moore sparked controversy with a post on social media that many interpreted as a reaction to Steinfeld’s (Spider-Gwen) engagement announcement.

“There’s still more people to meet. More opportunities to come. And more chances to try. Live, learn, apply,” the actor Tweeted.

Moore later clarified that his post was unrelated to Steinfeld’s news, stating, “Had no idea Hailee is engaged! That’s amazing, I’m here reflecting on my 2024 goals that are rolling over into 2025. Gods timing.”

Adding to the controversy, a compilation video of Moore interrupting Steinfeld during interviews was released shortly after his tweet, drawing further criticism.

Laura Harrier, known for her role as Liz Allen/Toomes in ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming and Far From Home,’ addressed a year-old photo Moore had shared of the two at a party, captioned, “Coming Soon.”

Harrier said she texted Moore and asked him to remove the photo because she was engaged and didn’t want people to think something was going on between them, and when she realized it was still there, she decided to respond.

“I texted him, ‘Hey can you take this down? I don’t know why you would post that, I’m getting married, I don’t like this insinuation.’ It’s still up… You’re a f*cking weirdo.”

Moore has since deleted the photo and shared a video response on X.
