Mark Hamill proved that he is not comfortable at all while meeting real-life Princess!
Actor Mark Hamill, best known for portraying Jedi Knight ‘Luke Skywalker‘ in the ‘Star Wars’ film series and Disney’s sequel trilogy, went to his verified social media accounts in order to release a hilarious photo of himself with the only child of Queen Elizabeth II, Princess Margaret.
Alongside the photo captured at the London premiere of ‘The Empire Strikes Back‘ in 1980 and showing Hamill could not make direct eye contact with Princess Margaret, the actor added a message that reads:
“This photo was taken moments after Billy Dee informed me that direct eye contact with royalty was punishable by prison and/or beheading (note @realbdw’s sly enjoyment of his prank, as @TheFrankOzJam looks on) Obviously, I wasn’t taking any chances!”
As fans might remember, back in 2018, Hamill commented on the photo which had been released by Billy Dee Williams, who played ‘Lando Calrissian‘ in the series. At that time, he stated:
“This photo was snapped moments after @realbdw told me that direct eye contact with royalty was an offense punishable by imprisonment in the Tower of London.”
Here is the mentioned tweet.
