Stephen King Starts A Campaign To Bring Back ‘Evil’ To Paramount+

King is urging Paramount+ to bring back ‘Evil,’ which ended in August after four seasons.

Stephen King recently took to social media to ask Paramount+ to bring back the TV show ‘Evil.’

The show, which mixes mystery with elements of religion and science, ended on August 22 after four seasons. King, who often shares his thoughts on movies, TV shows, and music online, wrote a short message saying, “Dear Paramount: More EVIL, please.”

Even though ‘Evil’ wrapped up last month, Stephen King isn’t the only one who wants it to continue. When shows get canceled, it’s common for fans to start petitions, but it’s rare for someone as well-known as King to speak out in support.

Earlier this year, Jeff Grossman, Executive Vice President of Programming at Paramount+, expressed pride in the series and excitement for its final season. The creators were given four bonus episodes to help wrap up the story. David Stapf, President of CBS Studios, also praised the creative team behind ‘Evil’ for their work over the years.

‘Evil’ starred Mike Colter, Katja Herbers, and Aasif Mandvi. The show explored the origins of evil and how it connects to both science and religion. It was created by Robert and Michelle King, who also produced the series along with Liz Glotzer, Rockne S. O’Bannon, and Sam Hoffman.

As of now, there’s no word from Paramount+ on whether they will bring the show back.
