‘Stranger Things’ Alum Joseph Quinn Reveals How He Prepares For ‘Human Torch’ Role

The actor will star opposite Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach in Marvel’s ‘The Fantastic Four.’

Joseph Quinn recently answered questions about his MCU role during a panel at the Facts Comic-Con in Belgium. The ‘Stranger Things’ actor explained how he was getting ready for his gig as the Human Torch by joking:

“[I’ll be] setting myself on fire every day.”

He also commented on working with Matt Shakman in the new project:

“I still can’t believe it, it’s crazy. We have a great group. When I spoke to Matt, the director, he had a brilliant vision for this, and the group we have, it was an easy decision. I definitely wanted to be a part of it.”

New Artwork And Cast Members

The official Fantastic Four X account shared the first look at Johnny Storm’s ‘flame on’ mode a few days ago. (You can see the artwork at the end of this page.)

News broke earlier this week that Julia Garner also joined ‘The Fantastic Four’ cast. Garner will play Shalla-Bal’s Silver Surfer in an allegedly alternative universe opposite Pascal’s Reed Richards, Kirby’s Sue Storm, and Moss-Bachrach’s Ben Grimm.

The upcoming film will start production this summer. It will hit the screen on July 25, 2025.
