The 16-year-old actress Millie Bobby Brown, who plays ‘Eleven’ in the ‘Stranger Things,’ took to Instagram and told more than 34 million followers that she was heartbroken at the loss of her beloved dog, Dolly.
The Emmy award-nominated star wrote the followings next to a series of snaps of Dolly, and a heartwarming clip of herself with her lovely dog:
“In 2011, we received this blessing to our family. 9 years later, you turned into everyone’s best friend. Your slobbery good mornings and always showing us your toys were the best ever. Your cuddles always felt better than the ones before and your loyalty to our family was incomparable.”
Brown, one of the youngest nominees in Emmy history expressed her deep sorrow, and paid tribute to Dolly, which died at the age of 9:
“My heart has broken today. You were the heart and soul of this family and if anyone met Dolly, you know how special she truly was. As I held your paw while you were going to heaven… I thought about the memories we made together and the adventures we went on like London. Orlando. Los Angeles. Canada. Atlanta. you name it, Dolly had probably been there. I’ll never forget you. never.”
Later, she added a quote of ‘Whippet Angel,’ from the movie ‘All Dogs Go to Heaven.’
“All dogs go to heaven because, unlike people, dogs are naturally good and loyal and kind.”
The young actress, playing the title role in the upcoming film ‘Enola Holmes,’ concluded her words as follows:
“I love you, Dolly Brown. You will always be our #1.”
