‘Succession‘ is gearing up to start shooting again for season 3, after a long COVID-19 break.
The exciting news regarding the satirical comedy-drama television series was delivered by Alan Ruck, portraying the eldest son of ‘Logan Roy,’ ‘Connor Roy‘ in the series. During an interview with PEOPLE magazine, Ruck revealed that they are returning to the set this month.
“We’re going to start in New York right around the middle of November.”
As fans remember, the critically-acclaimed HBO series was renewed for the third season in August 2020, however, on March 28, it was announced that the production for the third season was delayed because of the concerns over the COVID-19 pandemic. Since the announcement came from HBO, the fans of the series have been waiting for a piece of good news. So, it’s here.
According to news obtained from actor Nicholas Braun, playing ‘Greg Hirsch‘ in the series, the next season will be released in “next year” in the best-case scenario. However, the things going to happen in season 3 are still a secret. When Brian Cox, the lead actor of the series, was asked about the storyline, during The Hollywood Reporter interview, he said:
“I nearly fell off my chair because never tells you about the next series. We never knew from episode to episode what was going to happen. It’s jolly thrilling. That’s all I can say.”
Then he added that due to the novel coronavirus pandemic safety protocols, in the third season, they will need to use more sets not to shoot on the streets.
