The tragic incident took place near the set of the upcoming ‘Superman’ on July 24.
As per Entertainment Weekly, a contractor working on the film was found dead in her car at Trilith Studios near Atlanta. The police believe it was a suicide.
The Fayetteville Police Department responded to the scene early in the morning. Captain Austin Dunn said that they arrived at 500 Sandy Creek Road at 6:47 a.m. and found the woman unconscious in her vehicle. She had an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. The police found no signs of foul play and confirmed the investigation is not related to any studio projects.
Warner Bros. representatives didn’t comment on the situation.

James Gunn’s new Superman movie is set to be released on July 11, 2025. It stars David Corenswet as Superman, Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, and Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor.
