‘Superman & Lois’ Gets New Update For Its Release Date

This season will be the last chapter in the Arrowverse on The CW.

The CW officially announced the release of the final season for ‘Superman & Lois.’

As per The Hollywood Reporter, the last season of ‘Superman & Lois’ will premiere in Fall 2024. The new episodes will air on Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

‘Superman & Lois’ first aired in 2021 and stars Tyler Hoechlin as Superman and Bitsie Tulloch as Lois Lane. The show’s last new episode aired on June 27 last year, and it is set to end with its fourth season. This will also mark the end of the Arrowverse on The CW.

Why Is ‘Superman & Lois’ Ending?

Warner Bros. and the upcoming DC reboot by James Gunn had an influence on the decision. CW President Brad Schwartz explained that they did not want a competing Superman product in the marketplace.

Season 4 will consist of 10 episodes. They may be released one after the other over 10 weeks to avoid the breaks that affected previous seasons. The series finale is titled ‘It Went by So Fast’ and will feature a guest appearance by Tom Cavanagh. It’s not yet known if he will reprise his role as ‘The Flash’s Harrison Wells.

James Gunn’s ‘Superman: Legacy’ is scheduled to hit theaters on July 11, 2025.
