Actor Jared Padalecki, best known for his portrayal of ‘Sam Winchester‘ in the fan-favorite TV series ‘Supernatural,‘ which concluded back in November after 327 episodes, fired up his social media accounts to let fans know that he is highly excited about playing ‘Cordell Walker‘ in the reboot of the series, ‘Walker, Texas Ranger.’
On Twitter, Padalecki posted a two-photo gallery that sees him on the set in a sheriff outfit, and wrote that he has so much he wants to say regarding his joining to the cast and continued:
“BUT, I’d rather give y’all the time to watch the premiere of Walker 😁”
Announced that the reboot, ‘Walker’ was scheduled to hit The CW on January 21, 2021, Padalecki, who is also one of the producers of the series stated his satisfaction with portraying the titular role:
“But I will say this, it’s been a long road, and I couldn’t be more proud to bring you a new character and a new world.”
At the end of his message, the 38-year-old actor thanked the entire cast and crew that made all of these possible:
“Gratitude to the cast, crew, CBS Studios, and The CW for all of your hard work. I hope you love it as much as I do. #WalkerFamily #SPNFamily”
As fans might remember, the reboot was first announced in September 2019, the same year it was also declared that Padalecki had been attached to star. Starring Lindsey Morgan, Keegan Allen, Mitch Pileggi, Molly Hagan, and Coby Bell, the action crime television series, is now available to watch.
