Daytime Emmy Award-nominated actor Jensen Ackles, best known for starring as ‘Dean Winchester‘ in fantasy series ‘Supernatural‘ went to his verified Instagram account with a piece of updates concerning his upcoming ‘Batman‘ project.
As fans might remember, it was officially announced a few days ago that Ackles would voice ‘Bruce Wayne / Batman‘ in the highly expected animated film ‘Batman: The Long Halloween, Part One.’ The actor, who previously provided the voice of ‘Jason Todd‘ in ‘Batman: Under the Red Hood,’ became sociable to confirm and celebrate the news.
On Instagram, the actor released a photo collage consisting of his photo plus an animated ‘Batman’ and expressed his excitement regarding the film by saying that one of his boyhood dreams is coming true. He also provided a bunch of further details:
“I know I tweeted about this a few days ago but…I’m just so stoked that this is finally coming out. We recorded voices a couple years ago. Secrets are hard to keep, especially when #Batman is involved.”
After unveiling that he has been a part of the film, based on the well-known comic book miniseries of the same name, for a quite long time, Ackles stated his satisfaction with calling himself as ‘Batman.’
“Animated or not…I actually get to say ‘I’m Batman’…and really mean it. Boyhood dream ✅ …can’t wait for more! #batmanthelonghalloween”
In his message, ‘The Boys’ star also paid tribute to the late star Naya Rivera by writing in short that: “RIP Naya Rivera.” In case the ‘Glee’ star had not passed away tragically, she would have voice ‘Catwoman‘ in ‘Batman: The Long Halloween, Part One.’
