Sydney Sweeney Worries About Her Safety: ‘I’m At Risk’

She denied rumors that she calls paparazzis to her home herself.

Sydney Sweeney recently spoke out about the serious risks she faces from the paparazzi.

In an interview with Glamour magazine, the actress revealed how photographers invaded her privacy — even at her own home in Florida. Sweeney said that a group of photographers surrounded her house and began shouting at her family members who were outside. One of them even tried to make a deal, saying, “If you tell her to just come outside in a bikini, I’ll take pictures and then I’ll leave you alone.”

Sweeney also addressed rumors that she calls the paparazzi herself. She denied this, saying, “Why would I call the paparazzi to take pictures of me at my own house when my baby cousins and family are there and I’m in my backyard? Why would I ever want that?” She added that some photographers hid in kayaks for hours, trying to get pictures of her. “I should be able to be in my home and feel comfortable and safe,” Sweeney said.

The biggest issue for Sweeney is when her location gets leaked. “When those photos go out, then my actual safety is at risk,” she admitted. “Everyone knows where I am. Now there’s boats that go by, and I literally hear them say, ‘This is Sydney Sweeney’s house.’ It becomes a star tour in my front yard.”

Sweeney also talked about the public attention her body gets. She said that many of her young fans told her how she helped them feel more confident about their own bodies. Sweeney supports body positivity and encourages others to feel empowered and embrace their sexuality.

Sweeney’s main concern is her safety and privacy as her home is now a target for unwanted attention.
